The Blessing and Calling of Community
As we realize that post-Covid-19 quarantine life is a new normal of uneven vaccination, continued use of masks, and social distancing, the ways in which we are used to experiencing community continue to change. For the 2021-22 Worship year at Epworth, we gather around scripture stories of expressions of the Beloved Community in many different historical contexts and manifestations to discover and practice those handprints – foundational elements of what it means to be a vital member of a community of faith, hope, and love in any situation.
