Mark your calendar for a wonderful celebration of Epworth’s 125th year of exploring faith and embracing community the weekend of September 17-18. Saturday, September 17 will be a day of outdoor activities, food, and music, from 10 am to 4 pm (see details below). We’ll welcome former pastors, local dignitaries, and friends to a music-filled worship celebration at 10:00 Sunday morning, September 18, and return Sunday evening at 5:00 to enjoy a celebration anniversary dinner.
Thanks to everyone who signed up to volunteer to help setup, staff, and clean up the party. You can still sign-up to attend the free dinner Sunday evening at 5.
This weekend of celebration offers us all a moment not only to look back with thanksgiving and praise, but also to give thanks for our place in Epworth’s storied history of living testimony of neighbor love and love for God in Christ. See the Cape Gazette review of Epworth’s history that ran before our 120th anniversary.
We are especially grateful to our Anniversary planning team – and to all who have come before us in their walk of faith!
