DESCRIPTION:Capital Ringers\, Delmarva’s community handbell ensemble\, will come to Epworth at 3 p.m. Saturday\, December 14 for one of its holiday concerts\, “Christmas Around the World.” \nThese concerts have become a holiday tradition in Delaware and Maryland. The Capital Ringers is an advanced ensemble with the largest collection of handbells and handchimes on Delmarva. \n“Our concerts will take listeners on a musical journey through the Great Gate of Kiev to Germany\, England\, France\, Spain\, the West Indies\, Canada\, and Brazil\, ultimately circling the globe back to Ukraine with the famous Ukrainian Carol of the Bells\,” says the ensemble’s artistic director\, Kevin B. Chamberlain. “Our ringers will showcase a variety of ringing techniques using our Schulmerich handbells\, auxillary bells\, and handchimes with percussion.” \nTickets are $20 for adults; 18 and younger are free.
