Have you lost someone or something recently? The loss could be the death of a loved one, a divorce or break up, the loss of a job, the loss of your health, etc. These losses place you on a journey of grief, which is as natural to life as life (and death) itself. Yet, our culture does not know how to handle grief, either the grieving process itself or accompanying someone on that journey. So, in our grief, we may end up feeling isolated, misunderstood, and alone. This feeling makes the holidays especially difficult.
Here’s the good news: you are not alone! In January, we invite you to explore your grief journey with others in a support group type setting. Pastor Vicki will offer two confidential support groups, one in person and one online. Beginning on Thursday, January 16 and running through Thursday, February 27, the in-person group will meet at the church from 11 a.m. to noon and the online group will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We invite you to join us no matter how long you have been grieving.
