What is it like to spend Valentine’s Day alone?  Many of us are lucky enough to share cards, words of love, dinner with our loved ones on that special day.  But what if you didn’t have family or friends?  What if you never get a card or hear the words “I Love You”?

Prior to the pandemic every Valentine’s Day we asked our congregation to “Share the Love” with those in the four assisted living facilities in our area.  When buying valentines for family and friends buy an additional one or two.  You can add words of encouragement or just sign it.  Please add from your friends at Epworth Church!

In past years, we averaged 500 cards every Valentine’s Day, including cards from our pre-school.  Activity Directors at our local assisted living homes shared with us the joy those cards brought to people living there.  So, let’s Share the Love again!

Bring your additional valentine to church on February 5 or 12.  There will be baskets in the Narthex before service for you to drop your card into.  We will deliver the cards on February 13 to the Activity Directors to deliver on Valentine’s Day!
