• During the month of February, Epworth will be celebrating a ministry of encouragement and appreciation of each other - in a project we're calling Share the Love (Notes).  Take a moment this month to jot down a thank you note on a post-it note to stick to the bulletin board in the foyer and celebrate what God is doing in someone's life that has blessed you in a special way. Shine the light of God's love and encouragement and make someone's day!
• The Polar Bear Plunge is back this Sunday, February 5! Join or support Pastor Vicki and our Youth Group (Team Epworth RB) in raising money for Special Olympics DE
• Rev. Jonathan and Donna Baker will share about their recent missionary trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 5:30 pm (with supper provided by our Food & Love Ministry) RSVP here
• See the Winter Schedule for Your Neighbor’s Faith – Thursday, Feb. 9, Pastor Vicki will present the topic “Christianity Through a Methodist Lens”
• Share the Love (Valentines) returns to Epworth - find out how you can be a part of this Valentines Day outreach
• The Epworth Youth Group meets Sundays at 11:15 in the Youth Room (near the Oceanside entrance - second doorway on the right). Contact Joy Gordy-Stith or Tom Lewis for more info
• Don't miss the CAMP Chorus Hooray for Hollywood Concert on Feb. 17 and 18 at 7 pm (the Feb. 19 show is SOLD OUT!). Led by our very own Doug Yetter, the CAMP Chorus features several talented Epworth singers/performers, including our pastors!
• Lent begins Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023. We will offer a worship service that evening at 7, and start four group conversation/fellowship experiences - Pastor Vicki and Rev. Marjorie Belmont-Burns will lead the second of a three-part series on the future of United Methodism called Who Are We? Rev. David Garrett will lead a Bible study written by Adam Hamilton called The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus. Pastor Bo will lead part two of his 12 Most Important Chapters of the Bible series, and Pastor Bo will team up with Kristen Weschler to lead an online sermon discussion group after each worship service in Lent. • The League of Women Voters and Dept. of Housing and Urban Development are co-sponsoring a series of roundtable virtual seminars on housing in Delaware. The next one is The Lived Experiences: Impact of Housing Shortage (personal stories) on Monday, March 20, 2023 7-8:30 p.m. Click on the link above to register and see the other seminars
• We're excited to report that on Tuesday Jan. 10, representatives from the eleven churches of the Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches voted 12-1 to welcome communities of faiths other than Christianity to join in the work of loving and healing our neighbors

• Interested in Volunteer Opportunities? Join Tom Safrit and David Garrett in their work at the New Life Thrift Store to help generate funds that help our neighbors in need through LRAC ministries. We celebrated our latest grants of $100,000 to What is Your Voice, a domestic abuse shelter, and $60,000 to Family Promise of Southern Delaware at the New Lift Thrift Shop at 9 am on December 7
