Epworth UMC will host the Bloom & Grow Plant PopUp Sale on Saturday, May 3 from 10 am to 2 pm. The event will include the sale of garden plants, houseplants, and gardening books and tools. Art and craft vendors, food trucks, and plant give-a-ways will round out the event.

The garden plant sale will feature native perennials chosen for their pollinator value and resistance to deer. “We will feature plants for hummingbirds, butterflies and bees,” said event chairperson, Susan Jimenez. There will be a pollinator garden give-a-way of American Beauties native perennials sponsored by The Inland Bays Garden Center of Bethany Beach. Free wildflower seeds are available while supplies last. Floral design demonstrations for the home gardener will be held at 11 am and 1 pm.

Participating food trucks include Grandpa Mac, Changing Mains, and Cup R Cone. Music will be provided by DJ Kermit. The event will be moved indoors in case of rain.
