Book Launch Party (Fellowship Hall)

A novel is born! Join Epworth member Lee Ann Walling for the launch of her debut novel, The Salt and Light Express, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 15 at Epworth.

All are welcome. Bring an item for the Epworth food pantry. A portion of book sales will also be donated to the pantry. The book will be available for $17.95. Beginning September 15, you will be able to pre-order the paperback, epub and audiobook versions.

The Salt and Light Express is the story of Chris, an adventurous older woman who heads west in a small RV after the death of her long-time partner, Sally. Her original mission was to spread Sally’s ashes at Bryce Canyon, but detours and people along the way help her heal, confront her flagging faith, and find love and purpose again
