Invite

Launcher lives on every page of the website - to access every next step (, volunteering, giving, etc.)

Happy photos of human people at Epworth work best

Collapsable Menus are best on mobiles (7 items or fewer - can use submenus)

Giving Page - Why and How

Footer can be huge - including site index - because it doesn't impede

Non Negotiable: Service Time, Email, Phone Number, Address, Social Links

Domain - short, memorable, easy to spell

If it's not obvious, it's not working

Church Connection Cards - ease into the relationship

Pick up the Blue Card and scan the QR code

The fewer forms you display, the more forms you will receive

Plan Your Visit - let us know about your children or accessibility (as well as contact us) is a great idea

Optimizing your Google Business Profile (I updated and completed this in early Nov 25)

  1. Claim it
  2. Review the information (name, address, phone number, email address, service times and office hours, website URL, links to social media, category, including denomination)
  3. Load up your profile with photos (the 12 above)

Thoughts

Much of this (Prayers, Forms/SignUps, announcement info) requires buy-in and reliable participation

Lots of this is a sales pitch for Nucleus (Launcher and Info Cards are free forever)

Can we rather demo our values and beliefs? And how about a link to United Methodist beliefs?

Web as a spider web? For Visitors (why fix a problem we don't have?)
