Debbie Hunt - Program Manager

Deb has worked at Epworth for 26 years after taking a few years maternity leave from being an Insurance Broker in Manhattan. Before that she was an Administrative Assistant for the Treasurer in a fortune 500 company, also in Manhattan. She currently works on all our special projects, such as the annual Statistical Report, the annual Charge Conference Report, the quarterly Newsletter, and the Insurance policies for the church. Regular projects include the weekly bulletins, PowerPoints, announcements, and our Church Calendar. In her earlier and mid years at Epworth, she also managed the office and finances.

Deb brings to Epworth 45 years’ experience in Administration, 20 years’ experience in Finance and 35 years’ experience in Insurance. She is married to her long-time friend, Gordon Weber, since June of 2015, and is glad to announce this one is the keeper. Deb has two children: Janine Bond, a well-known tattoo artist in Rehoboth, and Sean Bond of Connecticut, an entrepreneur in homeopathic cures and other healing talents. Anyone who knows her has experienced how proud she is of them. She also has two stepsons: Eric Weber, an Arborist and Ski Instructor in Steamboat Springs, CO, and Ryan Weber, a new enlistee of the Navy, currently stationed in San Antonio, Texas. The only thing she says she is missing are grandchildren; however, no one seems to be paying attention.

Deb and Gordon share a Condo in Milton, DE, with her daughter and son-in-law, and their two cats, Loki and Jonsie. They both enjoy swimming, reading, dining and watching movies.
