Communities Build Trust (June 12 – July 17, 2022)

This season of Pentecost (a six-month period of the Christian year from summer-fall), we devote our second series during this season (and the final series of our 2021-22 Community focus) on Biblical stories of God’s Kingdom. Jesus’ Kingdom teaching formed the core of his earthly ministry – in words and deeds.

For Jesus, the Kingdom of God (sometimes the Kingdom of Heaven) was not merely a mysterious and vague afterlife promise; Jesus hinted that God’s Kingdom was coming to us and could be a present reality (if we had eyes to see and ears to hear).
