Special Worship Experiences at Epworth
Dec 21 – 7:00 pm – Blue Christmas Worship Experience - Are you dreading the approach of the Christmas season? Christmas, normally a season for happy family gatherings, may turn into a painful reminder of your loss after the death of a loved one period this service is intended to acknowledge your loss, to help you survive the holidays, to find strength and healing and to provide tools as you journey in your daily walk through the deep pain of grief. Following the service you will have the opportunity to talk with others who have lost a loved one and share your story if you wish. No registration required.

Nov 28 – Advent Daily Devotions through Dec 25. Collection of food for our Christmas Holiday meal for our neighbors in need of food.
Dec 5 – 3:00 pm – Southern Delaware Chorale Winter Concert: Sing Joyfully. Come celebrate the newly reopening world with us this holiday and enjoy choral works by Handel, Mozart, and Holst along with Carols and Sing-Alongs! This event is the perfect way to remember what really matters during this time of togetherness. (Tickets: $25 adults and $10 students)
Dec 12 – 6:30 pm – Compassionate Friends Gathering – Supporting Family After a Child Dies (Lighthouse Chapter group also meets at Epworth the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm)
Dec 13 – 7:00 pm – Sussex Tech High School Winter Concert - Under the direction of Sussex Tech vocal instructor Sarah Rose, performing will be the high school’s concert choir; the women’s group Bella Voce; and the Chamber ensemble. Joining the Tech students will be the guest quartet VOCE. The concert is free and open to the public.
Dec 18 – 7:30 pm – Mispillion Performance Series: "Sounds of the Season - Music for the Heart" presented by Dancing Heart Trio, Karen Johnson, flute Bryan Bourne, trombone, and Mariko Hiller, piano (free and unticked)
Dec 19 – 3:00 pm – Rehoboth Concert Band Holiday Peace Concert. Rehoboth Concert Band presents its popular Holiday Peace Concert featuring a diverse program of traditional carols, holiday and seasonal medleys with surprising twists, and songs of international peace. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door, as available (cash only at the door, please). Cost is $20/adult; youth 18 & under are FREE!
