Epworth UM Church will hold a plant sale and pollinator festival on Saturday, May 9 from 9 am until noon.  The event will feature native plants and information about how the choices made in the home landscape affect pollinator health.  Education about cultural practices, native plants and invasive species, ecological restoration, and the Dark Skies initiative will be available.

The Delaware Beekeepers Association, which just celebrated its 90th anniversary, will bring a teaching hive and an observation hive displaying live bees to the event. The Sussex County Master Gardners will feature their ‘Garden Smart, Garden Easy’ program and will be available to answer a wide range of gardening questions.

Other participants will include Inland Bays Garden Center, Tributaries Ecological Restoration, Blooming Meadows Nursery, and Delaware Naturally. Epworth is located at 19825 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth.
