Join us for an ecumenical Easter Sonrise Service at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand 6 am Easter Sunday April 17 (pre-music begins at 5:40). Sponsored by the Lewes Rehoboth Association of Churches. Preaching the Good News of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ will be the Rev. Marjorie Belmont-Burns, pastor of Faith and Israel United Methodist Churches. Participating in the service will be members of the LRAC Board of Directors. Thanks to Steve Johnson (Westminster Presbyterian Church) for leading our Sonrise Praise Team, Bill Martin (Epworth UMC) for leading our pre-worship music – and our musicians! LRAC is grateful to the City of Rehoboth Beach for their warm hospitality and generous support of this community worship gathering – especially Lynne Coan, Communications Specialist, Program Director, Corey Groll, and our Sound Tech, Scott Chambers.

LRAC is a group of 12 Christian congregations (and Seaside Jewish Community as an associate member) dedicated since 1983 to loving and serving our neighbors in the Cape Henlopen School District as an expression of our Christian unity. This worship service is another expression of our unity in Christ. LRAC raises ministry funds primarily through our New Life Thrift Shop and over 100 volunteers, which our Board of Directors grant to ministry partners serving our most vulnerable neighbors in the Cape Henlopen School District. Our major ministry partners include:

LRAC member churches provide many of the volunteers for these ministry partners, in addition to the ministry of love and service to our neighbors that are part of each congregational ministry:
