Podcast debuts Sunday, June 21

We are launching our inspirational story-telling podcast: "Faith, Hope & Stories." We will have conversations with people who are sowing the seeds of faith, hope and love in our community. They are people you may already know and people you don't know--yet. They have a calling, a purpose, a mission.

We're looking forward to sharing their stories with you. You will be able to view or listen to the podcast episodes here or on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other places.

"Faith, Hope & Stories" is the brainchild of Epworth member Lee Ann Walling, a former journalist, and the Rev. Dr. Bo Gordy-Stith, pastor of media and communications.

.

Lee Ann Walling, the producer, is a former newspaper and television journalist. She worked for media in Texas and Delaware before leaving journalism in 1992 to work for Ruth Ann Minner, who was running for lieutenant governor. She was elected governor in 2000, and Lee Ann was her senior adviser.

She retired from state government in 2013. She earned her Master of Fine Arts from Drexel University in 2024 and published her first novel, The Salt and Light Express, at age 69. Her second novel, The Next Right Thing, will be published in 2027.

She has been playing keyboards and synthesizer at Epworth since July 2021.
