Ubuntu – I AM because we are

This worship year, as we reel from the new normal of increased fear, hostility, and division in our communities, our country, and our world, we sense a calling to explore the wisdom of the South African concept of Ubuntu: I AM because we are.

Our key verses for the year are Colossians 3:14-15: “Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.“
