At our recent Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) meeting on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, we approved a change in Associate Pastor Bo’s title from Associate Pastor of Community and Communication to Associate Pastor of Media and Communication. This update reflects the evolving needs of our congregation and Pastor Bo’s primary focus on the media and communications ministry at Epworth.
When Pastor Bo joined us five and a half years ago during the COVID quarantine, his role included both AV/communications and community outreach. Over time, we realized that these combined responsibilities stretched beyond a healthy work/life balance of the 20 hours a week he is contracted for. Community outreach leadership has since transitioned to other capable leaders, allowing Pastor Bo to concentrate on strengthening our media presence and communication efforts.
Pastor Bo continues to embody Epworth’s commitment to community by serving as a school bus driver for Cape Henlopen School District and by hosting the many groups and organizations who use our sanctuary for graduations, concerts and gatherings.
