Mail Call!

Wednesday, January 7, 2026
Hi David and Dottie,
We at the Seasons Condominium Association here in Rehoboth Beach are launching our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service food drive for the benefit of the food pantries at Epworth United Methodist Church and Lutheran Church of Our Savior. This will be the 4th year we are doing this.
I was wondering if you have a “we really need” list of items that we can put in our communications to our community neighbors soliciting donations for this food drive.
Our aim is to deliver what we have collected on Tuesday, January 20, between 10am and 12pm, if that works for you.
Thanks for your help and guidance.
May you have a blessed, peaceful, and fruitful 2026.

It’s that time of year again! We are collecting donations for the Epworth Food Pantry.

From now until January 31, you can donate select food and personal items (see list below) to earn Blooming Boutique Gift Certificates! For every two items donated, Blooming Boutique will generously offer $1 in store Gift Certificates acknowledging and rewarding your kindness! Gift Certificates are valid for 30 days.

If you prefer to contribute financially, both in-store and online donations are accepted at BloomingBoutique.com/donate. Rest assured, 100% of cash donations will be dedicated to purchasing essential food items for the drive. Those who donate online will receive a set of coupons in the mail as a thank you for helping with the fundraiser.

Items can be dropped off at Blooming Boutique in Lewes and Long Neck and Blooming Boutique Accessories in Lewes.

Your support will directly impact and alleviate the struggles faced by members of our community through the Epworth Food Pantry. Let’s band together and make a difference—your contributions, whether in-kind or monetary, will create a significant impact during this crucial period.

Together, let’s ensure no one goes hungry or without essential items this winter. Join us in our efforts to extend warmth and care to those who need it most!

These specific items are crucial for supporting the Epworth Food Pantry’s efforts in aiding over 200 individuals in the community every week. Please note single-serving ramen and fruit cups/apple sauce cannot be accepted at this time.
