Christmas Joy is in need of Elves to help with a Holiday Craft Fair in November. If you would like to help with the Holiday Craft Fair, please contact Sue Brenton. At this time I am looking at Nov. 22.
Your help with Christmas Joy 365 allows us to continue to help the children and families of the Cape Henelopen School District.
Some examples are:
- We helped with the funeral expenses of a child that passed away from cancer and his mom, a single mom, needed assistance.
- We help sponsor “scholarships” for children to attend our pre school if the parents need assistance.
- We help sponsor children to attend Camp Pecometh in the summer.
- We purchased $2,600.00 in Weis gift cards for the 26 families we adopted at Christmas.
- We have a committee of 3 that review each request outside of Christmas as to whether or not the request is approved.
Our ministry is an outreach to our community. We look for ways to help our children and families. The more we raise the more outreach we can do.
