The Good Sam Card Ministry, coordinated by Karen West, places a card in every bag when we serve those in need of food. The Good Sam workers are placing cards in all the J1 food bags. The Good Sam Food Ministry is now sharing 100 three times a week with our community. Karen asks if anyone has cards with a blank inside to write a message – they really could use them. If you bring the cards in and give them to Mickie at the Pastoral Care Desk the card ministry can continue the good work they are doing. Also, if anyone would like to help with this card ministry they could really use you. All you need to do is write Epworth UMC and a message if you like, bring them in on Sunday and give them to Mickie! Thank you!
Communion Ministers needed!
The Caring Ministry needs two communion ministers. You would bring communion on the first Monday of the month to residents of Excel (the old Harbor Health) and one would go to serve communion to the residents of The Moorings.
