As always, I am so incredibly proud of your youth! If you don’t hear the feedback directly, let me pass on that I receive rave reviews weekly!

A few updates: we have a new volunteer with us – Mr. Dan Finocchiaro. He is joining us weekly and we are so excited to have him join our amazing team! I am so grateful to Ms. Sarah and Ms. Thea for all the love and support they give our youth group.

Here are the much-awaited get-together dates for the next few months.

  1. November 15 at 1:00pm – Crafts on the Beach. We’ll be meeting at the Rehoboth band pavilion at 1:00pm.
  2. December 19 at 5:00-8:30pm – Annual Christmas party at Pastor Vicki and Pastor Bo’s house. Dinner and games and a white elephant gift exchange with a $10 limit.
  3. January 10 at 3:00-6:00pm – roller skating in Dover, DE. Tickets are $12 and skate rentals are $5. Please let me know if any financial assistance is needed! Address is: 2201 S DuPont Hwy, Dover, DE 19901. The rink does require waivers to be signed. The waiver can be found at this link – https://www.doverskatingcenter.com
  4. February 7 at 5:00pm – youth group Valentine’s Date. Location to be determined.
  5. March 21 – Longwood Gardens
  6. April 11 – mini golf

I want to see if we have any interest in attending our conference’s 2026 Youth Rally. The dates are March 20-22. (You’ll note that the weekend is the same weekend we’d selected for the Longwood Gardens trip.)

More information can be found here

Please let me know if your youth have any interest in attending. If we have enough interest, we’ll work on logistics! We will not be staying the night in Ocean City – my initial thought is that we would have a lock-in at the church and drive down for a day.

Please let me know if there is anything that we can help your youth with. The team and I love each of your youth dearly, and if there is anything that we can do to support you and your families, we would love to hear it!

In case you don’t have it, my phone number is 302-750-3964.

Thank you, all, for trusting us with your youth.

Joy Gordy-Stith, Youth Minister
